Senior Project Manager

Senior Civil Project Manager North Sydney or Parramatta | Civil Design & Project Leadership An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Civil Project Manager to join a highly regarded civil engineering consultancy with established teams in both North Sydney and Parramatta . This is a senior, client-facing position suited to a degree-qualified Civil Engineer with at least 10 years’ design experience who is confident leading projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing the successful delivery of civil works from initial planning through to construction. You will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects, working closely with clients, authorities, consultants and internal design teams. Alongside project delivery, you will provide technical guidance to engineers and designers, contribute to team development and help maintain strong, long-term client relationships. The Role Your responsibilities will include: • Managing civil engineering projects from concept and design through to approvals and construction • Coordinating and integrating multidisciplinary project teams • Overseeing project scope, budgets, programs, resources and deliverables • Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact throughout delivery • Reviewing civil designs, technical reports, drawings and documentation • Liaising with councils, service authorities and other approval bodies • Supporting and mentoring engineers and designers within the team • Ensuring projects comply with relevant Australian Standards, council requirements and construction standards • Identifying project risks and resolving technical or delivery issues • Contributing to proposals, fee submissions and the continued growth of client relationships About You To be considered, you will ideally have: • A degree in Civil Engineering • A minimum of 10 years’ civil design and project delivery experience • Demonstrated experience managing civil engineering projects and multidisciplinary teams • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, 12d, DRAINS and MUSIC • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and local council design requirements • A sound understanding of service authority design approvals and construction standards • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage project budgets and programs • Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management and communication skills • Strong technical writing and report preparation capabilities • The confidence to manage clients, coordinate teams and take ownership of project outcomes The Opportunity This position offers the chance to join an established and supportive consultancy with a strong pipeline of work, capable technical teams and a collaborative working environment.
