Structural Engineer – Building Structures | Sydney CBD 3–7 Years’ Experience | Major Projects | Top-Tier Consultancy $90,000–$130,000 + Super (depending on experience) An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Structural Engineer with approximately 3–7 years’ experience to join the Sydney team of a large, highly regarded multidisciplinary engineering consultancy. The business has a significant presence across Australia and internationally and is entering another strong period of growth following the award of multiple major new projects . With an established Sydney structures team and an impressive forward pipeline, they are looking to add an experienced Structural Engineer who wants to develop their technical capability while gaining exposure to larger, more complex building projects . The project portfolio is a major attraction. You will have the opportunity to work across mid and high-rise developments, data centres, major commercial buildings, mixed-use developments and other large-scale projects , working alongside highly experienced engineers and senior technical leaders. This would particularly suit an engineer who has gained a strong grounding in structural building design and is now looking for a larger platform, more technically challenging projects and a clear pathway towards Senior Engineer level and beyond. The opportunity • Work on major newly awarded projects across Sydney and nationally • Exposure to large and technically complex building structures • Projects spanning high-rise, commercial, mixed-use, data centres and major developments • Join a large, established and well-regarded structural engineering team • Work alongside experienced senior engineers, technical specialists and project leaders • Strong mentoring and support towards continued technical and professional development • Opportunity to take on increasing design, coordination and project responsibility as your experience develops • Clear longer-term career progression within a major multidisciplinary consultancy • Competitive salary package of approximately $90,000–$130,000 + super , dependent on experience About you Ideally, you will have: • Approximately 3–7 years’ structural engineering experience • Australian consultancy experience within building structures • Strong structural analysis and design capability across reinforced concrete, steel and associated building systems • Experience on medium to large-scale building projects; exposure to high-rise, commercial, mixed-use or data centre projects would be particularly attractive • Experience with relevant structural analysis and design software • A good understanding of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code • Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with architects, clients and other engineering disciplines • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering , or equivalent • An ambition to continue developing technically and progress towards Senior Engineer level This is an excellent time to join the business.
