About the Role Our client, a prominent entity in the healthcare industry , requires a meticulous Procurement Specialist focusing on indirect spend for their operations based in Klerksdorp . This role is crucial for managing the procurement of non-operational goods and services, such as IT equipment, office supplies, professional services, and facilities management. You will be tasked with identifying cost-saving opportunities, managing supplier contracts, and ensuring efficient service delivery that supports the organization's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for all indirect spend categories , including IT, HR, marketing, and facilities. • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs. • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities and best practices. • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Monitor supplier performance and manage contracts effectively to ensure service delivery and value. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, with a specific focus on indirect procurement . • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier contracts. • Proficiency in procurement software and data analysis tools. • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
