Remote Procurement Analyst

About the Role Our client is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Remote Procurement Analyst to join their global procurement team. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing critical insights to our procurement strategies. You will be responsible for analyzing spending data, identifying cost‑saving opportunities, and supporting the development of effective sourcing strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of procurement processes, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment, driving data‑informed decisions across the organization. Key Responsibilities • Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost‑saving opportunities, and areas for process improvement. • Develop and maintain spend dashboards and reports to provide visibility into organizational spending. • Support category managers and buyers in sourcing activities by providing relevant market intelligence and cost analysis. • Assist in the creation and evaluation of RFx (RFI, RFP, RFQ) documents. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement activities and report on performance against targets. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into procurement requirements. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Procurement Analyst or in a similar analytical role. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) and data visualization tools. • Strong understanding of procurement processes and terminology. • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills. • Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
