Procurement Manager - Indirect Categories

About the Role Our client is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager specializing in indirect categories to join their organization on a fully remote basis, supporting operations that include East London . This senior role involves developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies for all non-operational spend, including IT, marketing, travel, and professional services. You will lead a global team, drive significant cost savings, foster strong supplier partnerships, and ensure best-in-class procurement practices are adopted across the organization. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for all indirect spend categories globally. • Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. • Negotiate complex, high-value contracts with key suppliers, ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and risk mitigation. • Conduct in-depth market analysis, identify emerging trends, and implement innovative procurement solutions. • Collaborate closely with executive leadership and department heads to align procurement strategies with business objectives. • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of procurement operations and supplier performance. Requirements • Over 7 years of progressive experience in procurement , with a significant focus on indirect spend management at a strategic level. • Proven experience in leading and managing remote procurement teams. • Demonstrated success in negotiating large, complex global contracts and achieving substantial cost reductions. • Expert knowledge of sourcing methodologies, category management, and supplier relationship management. • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills. • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred.
