DATA CENTRE MANAGER

Responsible for very large or complex data center sites across multiple regions or countries and defines the group wide strategy for performance monitoring, aligning KPIs and objectives to drive global efficiency, uptime, and customer satisfaction.

Oversees capacity evaluations for physical, power, cooling, and security needs to ensure readiness and operational excellence, and partners with executive leadership on long-term operational and financial targets.

Drives the adoption of automation and predictive analytics, establish crisis management and process improvement standards, and promote a culture of knowledge sharing and compliance.

Leads major expansion initiatives, serves as the senior executive liaison across regions, develops partnerships, and manages the full lifecycle of hardware assets - overseeing installations, maintenance, and procurement, approving large investments, and directing audits to optimise efficiency, security, and scalability.

Requirements

Significant experience leading large-scale, people-intensive operations in data centers, cloud infrastructure, fulfilment, logistics, manufacturing, or another highly complex operational environment.

Proven experience operating at hyperscale and building systems that allow organisations to grow significantly without increasing headcount proportionally.

Demonstrated ability to design operating models that manage work, capacity, throughput, productivity, quality, and performance systematically rather than relying primarily on organisational hierarchy or additional staffing.

A strong systems and software mindset, with a track record of using automation, tooling, data, and process engineering to improve operational performance. Deep experience building repeatable operating mechanisms and scalable processes across multiple sites or large distributed organisations.
