Job Description
Responsibilities Provide L2/L3 support to cloud-based application and services. Troubleshooting and resolve performance, reliability, and security issues. Monitor system health using tools like Splunk, Geneos, New relic and Grafana. Maintain 24/7 operational support model to ensure business continuity.
Update the RUN Book and KEDB as & when required. Participation in production change review/documenting, raising appropriate CAB questions and ensuring the deployments of every change have followed the standards and completed successfully.
Able to understand and debug Oracle procedures, function and triggers Follow security protocols and compliance requirements to safeguard data warehouse assets. Maintain up-to-date documentation of data warehouse processes, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.
Guide internal teams on cloud best practices, security, and cost optimization. Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand data needs and improve system performance.
Skills Requirement Bachelors Degree in Information Technology/Engineering/Computer Science 6 - 8 years of experience in Banking sector with Application Developer/Production support background within the Wealth Management industry.
Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle (EXCC) and SQL server Proficiency in SQL for querying, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Familiarity with ETL tools (e. g. , Informatica, Talend, SSIS) and data pipeline management.
Understanding of data warehouse concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and dimensional modelling. Experience with cloud-based data warehouses (Google BigQuery) is a plus.
Unix file systems, commands, shell scripting development and trouble shooting Windows systems, batch scripting development and trouble shooting Oracle PL/SQL queries development and trouble shooting Managing / monitoring Control-M and Tivoli/Geneos monitoring tools.
Expertise in performance tuning troubleshooting and optimizing cloud resources. S
