Senior Electrical Grid Engineer

Key Responsibilities • Perform complex power flow, short circuit, and stability analyses for high-voltage transmission and distribution systems. • Develop grid expansion plans and upgrade strategies to accommodate new generation sources and increasing load demands. • Design and specify grid-connected systems, including substations, transmission lines, and protection schemes. • Collaborate with renewable energy developers to ensure seamless integration of solar, wind, and battery storage systems. • Troubleshoot and resolve grid operational issues, contributing to system resilience and reliability. • Mentor junior engineers and provide expert technical guidance on grid engineering best practices. Requirements • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems. • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in electrical grid engineering and power system analysis. • Proficiency with power system analysis software such as PSS/E, ETAP, or PSCAD. • In-depth knowledge of grid codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. • Experience with renewable energy integration and smart grid technologies. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
