Senior Civil Engineer

The Role This business is growing fast and needs a Senior Civil Engineer who can take real ownership of projects, freeing the Director up to focus on the direction of the business. You will run your own projects end to end, lead client relationships and represent the business directly in design meetings alongside architects, landscape architects, structural engineers and project managers. You will work closely with the Director day to day and have real input into the team's direction as it continues to grow. The Responsibilities • Take ownership of civil design projects from concept through to delivery • Lead client facing communication and represent the business in design meetings • Make informed technical decisions and take responsibility for project outcomes • Work closely with the Director on the direction of the civil team • Support and guide less experienced team members as the team grows The Requirements This role suits an experienced civil engineer who is ready to take ownership of their projects and their career. In return, you'll be able to demonstrate: • Solid experience in an Australian (preferably NSW) engineering design consultancy • A track record of running projects and leading client relationships independently • Strong technical civil design skills across site grading, stormwater and general civil documentation • A confident, proactive communicator who's comfortable representing the business directly to clients • Full working rights in Australia This is a genuine opportunity to take real ownership within a growing, forward thinking consultancy, and to shape your role as the business shapes its own direction.
