You’ll work on a mix of existing buildings, adaptive reuse and strengthening projects while mentoring a small team and delivering smart, buildable design solutions. This is ideal for a technically strong Senior to Associate‑level Structural Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and leading projects from concept through to completion. What You’ll Be Doing • Leading the structural design of building projects, with a focus on existing buildings and strengthening • Performing lateral analysis and seismic strengthening design • Designing concrete and steel structures to Australian Standards • Preparing sketches and clear technical documentation • Mentoring 2–3 engineers while managing project delivery • Liaising with stakeholders and overseeing projects from start to finish • Conducting site inspections, especially for existing buildings What We’re Looking For • 7–10 years’ structural engineering experience in building design • Strong experience with existing buildings and adaptive reuse • Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and sketching • Proficiency in Etabs, SpaceGass or Microstran, and RAPT (RAM Concept a plus) • Previous leadership experience mentoring junior engineers • Site experience and an appreciation of constructability constraints If you’re a Senior Structural Engineer who thrives on technical challenges and wants to join a high‑performing team where your expertise is valued – this is your next move.
