QA Automation Engineer ( BDD )

• Design and implement automation test frameworks using BDD (Cucumber, SpecFlow, etc.) • Write reusable and maintainable test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines • Identify test automation opportunities and drive implementation • Report defects clearly and assist in troubleshooting Requirements: • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation • Strong knowledge and experience with BDD tools (e.g., Cucumber, Gherkin, SpecFlow) • Proficiency in at least one programming language used in automation (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.) • Experience with Selenium/WebDriver or similar UI automation tools • Working knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc. • Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills Good to Have: • Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments • Experience in performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling) is a plus • ISTQB or other QA certifications Skills: Jenkins, Cucumber, Specflow, Javascript, Gherkin, Java, Python Experience: 2.00-4.00 Years
