Program Manager - Banking

Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager with deep expertise in Banking and Java development to lead large-scale, mission-critical initiatives. In this role, you will act as the bridge between complex technical architecture and strategic business objectives, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of high-impact banking solutions. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, engineering leads, and cross-functional teams to ensure that robust, scalable Java-based systems are delivered on time and within budget. Your leadership will directly influence the digital transformation journey of our clients, ensuring that their technological infrastructure remains resilient, secure, and aligned with global banking standards. Key Responsibilities: - Direct large-scale IT programs by coordinating multiple workstreams to ensure seamless integration of Java-based banking applications and enterprise systems. - Manage the full lifecycle of complex software development projects, ensuring that technical delivery meets the rigorous security and compliance standards required in the BFSI sector. - Facilitate communication between technical development teams and business stakeholders to translate complex banking requirements into actionable technical roadmaps. - Oversee service delivery performance by monitoring project health, managing resource allocation, and mitigating risks that could impact the stability of corporate banking platforms. - Drive continuous improvement in development processes by implementing best practices in Java architecture, agile methodologies, and quality assurance to enhance overall system performance. Required Skillset: - Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale digital transformation programs within the BFSI domain, with a deep understanding of corporate banking workflows and regulatory environments. - Extensive technical proficiency in Java development ecosystems, allowing for effective oversight of architecture design, code quality, and system scalability. - Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence executive-level decision-making. - Proven track record in managing global delivery teams, fostering a culture of accountability, and ensuring high-quality service delivery across distributed environments. - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to synthesize technical challenges into strategic business solutions. - Candidates must possess 18 to 24 years of relevant experience in IT program management and banking technology. - Flexibility to work from our Chennai or Mumbai offices, engaging with teams in a collaborative, high-performance environment.
