Logistics Operations Manager (3PL)

Industry: Logistics Conducive Working Environment MNC Environment Responsibilities Oversee daily inbound, outbound, and inventory control processes. Plan and execute warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency Ensure timely order fulfilment and delivery according to SLAs/KPIs.

Implement and maintain warehouse SOPs. Lead and supervise warehouse team leaders, supervisors, and ground staff. Conduct performance reviews and training programs. Allocate manpower based on volume forecasts and workload. Ensure accurate stock records and regular cycle counts.

Manage WMS (Warehouse Management System) and other logistics systems (i. e. SAP)Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies. Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements (e. g. , WSH Act, SCDF regulations). Conduct regular safety drills, risk assessments, and audits.

Maintain a clean and hazard-free warehouse environment. Drive Kaizen/Lean initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity. Analyze KPIs and operational data to propose process improvements. Lead or participate in automation and digital transformation projects. Serve as the key contact for customers.

Requirements

Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline. 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in a managerial position within Contract Logistics. Proven track record in P&L management, Lean implementations, and leading large, multi-functional teams.

Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand lease terms, pricing models, and SLA penalties. Excellent executive presentation skills for leading customer Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and internal steering meetings.
