BA needed to translate complex regulatory and organisational change into practical operational solutions. Tō kamupene hou | Your new company You will be joining a Wellington-based public sector organisation going through a significant period of change. With new regulatory requirements and changes to how the organisation operates, several important workstreams are now underway to ensure the business is ready for what comes next. Tō tūranga hou | Your new role Two fixed-term Business Analyst opportunities are available through to June 2027. Working across regulatory and organisational change, you will help understand what new requirements mean for the business and translate them into practical operational solutions. You will work with business representatives to understand the current state, identify impacts and requirements, and develop future-state processes and operational designs. This could include changes across processes, procedures, systems, forms and internal or external information. You will also facilitate workshops, document business requirements and support the implementation of new ways of working across the organisation. Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed We are looking for experienced Business Analysts who can comfortably navigate complex change and turn detailed information into clear, workable solutions.You will ideally bring: • Strong business analysis and requirements gathering experience • Experience translating policy, regulatory or legislative change into operational requirements • Strong current-state, future-state and change impact analysis skills • Experience facilitating workshops with a range of stakeholders • The ability to develop clear processes, requirements and operational documentation • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work across business and technical teams • Previous public sector or regulatory experience would be advantageous Ngā hua ka whiwhi i a koe | What you'll get in return This is an opportunity to work on meaningful change where your analysis will directly support how new requirements are implemented across the organisation.
