Company Details: GD Foods' owned brand Tops has built a strong reputation as a household brand in North India over the last 40 years, offering high-quality products in categories spanning across tomato ketchup, snack sauce, specialty sauces and culinary sauces, jams, pickles, noodles, instant mixes, corn and choco flakes and cooking essentials such as vinegar, baking powder, cake mix, corn flour. Headquartered in Delhi, the Company's sales are mainly concentrated in seven states in North India, with a retail presence across more than 150,000 outlets. It also maintains in-house manufacturing facilities at 3 locations. Presently we are doing a turnover of 4 - 5 Crore annually in Exports with countries like Australia, Dubai, New Zealand, Nepal, Fiji, South Korea, USA, California, Canada, Andaman and Nicobar, Singapore, Mauritius, Georgia, Thailand, Nigeria, Indonesia and wish to expand the business. Position Summary: We are looking for results-driven Export Manager to lead our international sales business for our complete range, specifically focusing on Pickles, Ketchup, Sauces, and allied food products. Experience of international markets specifically SAARC, Gulf countries, Australia, New-Zealand, European countries is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute export strategies to achieve sales targets in international markets. - Identify new business opportunities and distributors in untapped markets. - Handle export documentation, compliance, and international logistics (INCOTERMS, LC, customs regulations, etc.). - Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors, and partners. - Conduct market research and competitor analysis to position products effectively. - Collaborate with production, logistics, and regulatory teams to ensure timely and compliant order fulfilment. - Attend international trade fairs and exhibitions to represent the company and generate leads. - Monitor and manage export pricing, margins, and credit terms. - Ensure all product labels and packaging comply with the destination country's food regulations. - Prepare monthly sales reports and market performance analysis. Key Requirements: - Degree in International Trade, or related field (MBA preferred). - Over 10 years of proven experience in export sales, preferably in the FMCG food industry. - Strong knowledge of international food safety and export regulations. - Experience with Ketchup, Sauces, or related food products is highly desirable. - Proficient in export documentation, trade laws, and compliance (e.g., FDA, FSSAI, Codex standards). - Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. - Ability to travel internationally as needed. - Good understanding of packaging, shelf-life requirements, and food certifications (ISO, HACCP, BRC, etc.) is an added advantage.
