This position reports to: Local President, US Traction __ ABB ’s Traction division is a pioneering technology leader that offers innovative and energy efficient traction systems for railway rolling stock, electric buses, mining and off-road utility vehicles.

Our state of the art and comprehensive portfolio of traction converters, motors, auxiliary power supplies and high-performance Li-ion battery energy storage systems help customers all over the world to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions that gives our work a powerful sense of purpose.

As the Local Product Manager, you will work closely with local sales managers and global product teams to drive the long-term profitable growth of the traction division’s product portfolio in the US.

A very good understanding of power electronic systems together with domain and market know-how are essential to be successful in this role and to leverage the full potential of the product to successfully meet customer needs This role supports Motion Traction Division in the United States.

The selected candidate can work Hybrid in Mechanicsville, VA (US Traction HQ), New Berlin, WI, Mebane, NC or Raleigh NC (Other ABB physical locations) OR may be remote with business travel if residing in the United States and in US Eastern Time Zone. Your rol
