Pi42 - Chief Information Security Officer - Crypto/Trading

Head of Security Location: Bengaluru Work Mode: Work from Office Experience: 10+ years in Cybersecurity, with significant experience in Security Leadership Industry: Crypto As the Head of Security, you will own Pi42's security strategy, architecture, operations, risk management, incident response, and security governance. What We're Looking For: - 10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, with experience leading security functions or teams. - Strong experience across Product Security, Cloud Security, Application Security, Security Operations, and Incident Response. - Experience in Fintech, Payments, Banking, Crypto, Web3, Exchanges, or other highly regulated/high-risk environments is strongly preferred. - Strong understanding of crypto asset security, wallet/custody security, blockchain security, or exchange security is a major advantage. - Experience designing and implementing security architecture for large-scale production systems. - Strong understanding of AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, containers, APIs, IAM, networking, encryption, and secrets management. - Experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and security monitoring. - Strong understanding of secure SDLC, threat modelling, SAST/DAST/SCA, API security, and DevSecOps. - Experience leading major security incidents and coordinating cross-functional incident response. - Experience with ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC 2, or similar security/compliance frameworks. - Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills. - Ability to balance security, business requirements, engineering velocity, and user experience. Good to Have: - Previous experience in a crypto exchange/Fintech. - Experience with wallet infrastructure, MPC, custody, key management, or blockchain transaction monitoring. - Experience with SEBI/FIU or other financial/crypto regulatory requirements. - Experience building a security organisation from the ground up. - Experience handling high-severity crypto/security incidents. - Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP, AWS Security Specialty, or equivalent.
