Cloud Raptor - Senior Transformation Project Manager - IT & Systems

: Role & Responsibilities: Transformation & Operating Model Delivery: - Lead end-to-end delivery of transformation programmes that change how services are delivered, including operating model redesign and transition to new delivery or service arrangements. - Own the transition roadmap: current-state assessment, target operating model design, knowledge transfer planning, parallel run, cutover, and post-go-live stabilisation. - Partner with relevant internal teams to help define service levels, KPIs, governance cadence, and performance mechanisms for new or changed delivery arrangements. - Establish and chair transition governance forums, tracking readiness and early-life performance against agreed service levels. - Coordinate with process owners to validate scope, document processes, and safeguard controls and compliance continuity through the transition. Change Management: - Lead the people side of transformation in partnership with HR: workforce planning and transition support, handled with care and confidentiality throughout periods of organisational change. - Design and execute a change management and communications plan for impacted teams, addressing resistance and maintaining engagement through the transition. - Build stakeholder alignment across business leadership and delivery partners, ensuring transparency on timelines, impacts, and decisions throughout the programme. Core Project Management: - Manage projects end-to-end across initiation, planning, delivery, and close, ensuring alignment to the PMO framework, agreed tools, standards, and governance practices. - Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and governance artefacts, including risk and issue management via RAID logs, tracking milestones, dependencies, and blockers with timely escalation as needed. - Coordinate day-to-day activities across cross-functional delivery teams, managing conflicts, interdependencies, and resource coordination in alignment with the approved project management plan. - Provide timely and accurate project reporting and presentations to senior and executive stakeholders, including status updates, budget variance reporting, and Go/No-Go readiness support. - Support scope definition, requirements documentation, Project Management Plan creation, project close activities, retrospectives, lessons learned, ROI coordination, and BAU handover. - Facilitate project meetings, stakeholder meetings, and team rituals, developing and maintaining effective working relationships to support delivery of customer requirements and expectations. - Champion consistency, governance, and continuous improvement across projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and practices. - Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all team members feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive, demonstrating personal commitment to health, safety, and diversity. Preferred Candidate Profile: - 7+ years' experience leading projects or programmes in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, including demonstrated experience delivering operating model or service delivery transitions (e.g. shared services, outsourcing, insourcing, or automation-led delivery models). - Practical experience with service level/KPI design, delivery partner or vendor governance, and transition methodology, including knowledge transfer and parallel run/cutover management. - Working knowledge of core processes within a corporate or shared-services function (e.g. Finance, HR, or similar) sufficient to assess transition scope, risk, and control impact. - Demonstrated experience leading organisational change management, workforce transition planning, and sensitive stakeholder communications in a change or transformation context. - Deep understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and practical application. - Experience working in alignment with PMOs or enterprise governance functions. - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and manage sensitivity across all levels, including senior leadership. - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Relevant project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, SAFe, or equivalent); a change management certification (e.g. Prosci, CCMP) is an advantage. - Demonstrated experience delivering projects end-to-end within scope, budget, and schedule. - Experience working with cross-functional technical, business, and external delivery partner stakeholders. - Strong organisational, communication, and documentation skills. - Proactive, pragmatic problem-solver comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous, and sensitive environments. - Familiarity using AI-powered tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude) to enhance productivity.
