Senior Presales Engineer - Network & Security

Description : - Experience in presales with strong technical expertise in Routing & Switching, Network Security, Wireless, Cybersecurity, SD-WAN, and Cloud Security - Design and present enterprise networking and security solutions, conduct technical discovery sessions, prepare solution proposals, and engage with clients stakeholders. Must have key skills : Presales, POC, Presales Consulting, Network Security, Secure Access Service Edge, Solution Design, Solution Consulting, Solution Architecting, Technical Presales, SDwan, Juniper wireless, Solutioning, RFP preparation and response, solution specing for RFP making. Job Description : We are looking for an experienced Senior Presales Engineer Network & Security who can design, position, and present secure, scalable, and high-performance enterprise networking and security solutions. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise across Routing & Switching, security, Wireless, cybersecurity, SD-WAN, and Cloud Security, along with proven experience in customer-facing presales engagements. Key Responsibilities : - Conduct technical discovery sessions, requirement workshops & solution positioning. - Prepare HLD/LLD, BOM, solution proposals, and architecture documents. - Deliver presentations, demos, and POCs to customers. - Respond to RFP/RFI, create solution write-ups, and technical validations. - Perform sizing, costbenefit analysis, and ROI justification. - Collaborate with OEMs for deal registration and solution validation. - Engage with client stakeholders with strong articulation & presentation skills. - Support Sales team in winning enterprise & government opportunities Technical Expertise Required : - Enterprise Networking - Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VRF, QoS) - Juniper, HPE-Aruba, Cisco - L2/L3 design, VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP - VXLAN, EVPN designs - WAN & SD-WAN - SD-WAN: Fortinet, Silverpeak, PaloAlto - Hybrid WAN (MPLS/DIA/LTE), resiliency design, cloud on-ramp. - Wireless (Juniper MIST, HPE-ARUBA) - WLAN design, - RF planning, surveys, roaming optimization. - 802.1X, NAC, WIPS - Security - NGFW: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper SRX, Cisco Firepower. - DDOS: NetScout (Arbor) - WAF, ADC Reverse Proxy : F5 - IPS/IDS, URL filtering, SSL decryption, Web forward proxy, Email Security, - NAC: Cisco ISE, ClearPass, FortiNAC - Cloud Security: SASE, CASB, Prisma/Netskope/FortiSASE - SIEM: FortiSIEM, Splunk - EDR: SYMANTEC, TRENDMICRO, Crowdstrike, Trellix - NDR: FortiNDR, Extrahop - DLP: Fortra, Symantec, Forcepoint - Vulnerability Management: Tenable, Rapid7, Invicti. - HSM: THALES - Firewall Management, Policy, Audit & Compliance : Tufin - Compliance: - Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, GDPR Soft Skills & Competencies : - Excellent communication, presentation & storytelling skills. - Strong customer handling & stakeholder management - Ability to work on multiple presales pursuits simultaneously. - Team player with a collaborative mindset. - Strong documentation & proposal writing skills.
