The Gig An exciting opportunity has become available for a strategic, decisive and commercially astute Project Manager to lead major civil and subdivision projects across Queensland. Based in Brisbane and working closely with senior leadership, you’ll take ownership of project performance from early planning through to delivery and completion. You’ll be responsible for bringing together program, cost, contracts, procurement and project risk, making sure the commercial and operational pieces stay aligned as works progress. This is a role for someone who can look ahead, make sound decisions and keep projects moving when priorities shift or challenges arise. Leadership sits at the heart of the role, guiding Engineers and site teams while building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key project stakeholders. You’ll set the tone for delivery, create accountability across the team and help develop the people around you while keeping project outcomes firmly on track. You’ll be trusted with: • Leading project teams across major civil and subdivision delivery • Setting clear priorities across program, cost, risk and performance • Driving commercial outcomes through strong budget and contract oversight • Building productive relationships with clients, suppliers and delivery partners • Guiding Engineers and site leaders through complex project challenges • Making timely decisions to keep projects progressing against key milestones • Reviewing project performance and acting early where issues emerge • Strengthening team capability through mentoring, direction and accountability • Maintaining strong standards across safety, quality and project compliance • Overseeing procurement and key project administration through delivery What’s in your toolbox? • Civil Engineering qualification with proven civil construction experience • Proven Project Management experience across major civil or subdivision projects • Commercial confidence across budgets, contracts, procurement and project controls • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive accountability across delivery • Strong understanding of program, risk, compliance and project performance • Confidence managing clients, subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders • Sound knowledge of WHSEQ requirements within civil construction environments • Strong judgement and problem-solving across complex project delivery challenges You’re the kind of person who leads with clarity, takes ownership and stays composed when projects get complex.
