About the Opportunity An opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Clinical Project Manager to take ownership of clinical trial delivery across Australia. You will manage studies across the clinical trial lifecycle, acting as a key contact for sponsors while coordinating internal teams, sites, and external partners. With responsibility across timelines, budgets, risks, and overall study performance, you will ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to required quality and regulatory standards. This position is suited to an established CRO Project Manager looking to broaden their study exposure and take ownership of increasingly complex clinical programs. Duties • Lead clinical projects across start-up, execution, and close-out activities • Manage sponsor relationships and provide regular updates on project performance • Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve study milestones and deliverables • Maintain oversight of project budgets, forecasts, timelines, and resources • Identify study risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies • Oversee vendors and external partners involved in project delivery • Monitor site and recruitment performance, addressing challenges where required • Support scope changes and associated commercial discussions throughout delivery • Contribute to feasibility, bid defence, and broader project planning activities Skills and Experience • Previous Clinical Project Management experience within a CRO environment is essential • Strong understanding of end-to-end clinical trial delivery • Demonstrated experience managing study budgets, timelines, and project risks • Experience leading cross-functional teams within a matrix environment • Strong sponsor and stakeholder management capability • Sound knowledge of ICH-GCP and Australian clinical research requirements • Previous CRA or clinical operations experience is highly regarded • Tertiary qualification in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or a related discipline • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills Culture Join a collaborative and delivery-focused environment where Project Managers are trusted with genuine ownership of their studies.
