Your new role As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing electrical capital projects through the full project life cycle, from early studies and detailed design through to construction, commissioning, and handover. You will work closely with consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.Key responsibilities include: • Managing electrical projects from concept development through to completion • Coordinating consultants during feasibility studies, engineering, and detailed design phases • Managing project budgets, schedules, risks, and reporting requirements • Overseeing contractors and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations • Leading project execution, construction activities, and commissioning works • Reviewing and managing project documentation, technical deliverables, and governance requirements • Collaborating with operations, maintenance, engineering, and external stakeholders • Ensuring all work is delivered in line with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements • Driving project performance and continuous improvement outcomes What you'll need to succeed Demonstrated experience managing electrical projects within mining, resources, heavy industry, energy, or infrastructure environmentsProven experience managing consultants through study, design, and project delivery phasesStrong understanding of project delivery methodologies and project governance requirementsExperience managing contractors during construction and commissioning activitiesSound knowledge of contract administration and contractor managementStrong stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skillsAbility to manage multiple project priorities in a dynamic operational environmentElectrical trade or engineering qualifications will be highly regardedCommitment to maintaining the highest safety standards What you'll get in return This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded mining operation and contribute to the successful delivery of critical electrical infrastructure projects.
