Senior Python Backend Developer / Platform Engineer- remote

Mission Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, secure microservices, and cloud-based platform components that enable high-performance AI applications. Ensure reliability, security, scalability, and seamless integration between AI solutions, enterprise systems, and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Design and develop highly scalable, resilient, and secure microservices and RESTful/GraphQL APIs. Build and maintain backend services that support AI platforms and applications. Integrate business databases, third-party services, and internal legacy platforms with AI engines.

Optimize backend performance, latency, and resource utilization to support real-time AI inference and model hosting. Implement enterprise-grade security controls, including authentication, authorization (RBAC), and rate limiting.

Establish and promote development best practices, clean code standards, and code quality processes. Create and maintain integration and automated tests to ensure application reliability. Conduct code reviews and support engineering quality initiatives.

Collaborate with AI Engineers to deploy AI models and services in containerized environments. Design and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS and other cloud platforms. Support the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of production systems.

Professional Experience 5-10 years of experience in Backend Engineering, Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related fields. Proven experience building scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise applications. Experience designing cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.

Experience working in Agile software development environments. Technical Skills Strong programming skills in Python and Node. js. Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services. Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
