Your Responsibilities • Manage electronics development projects from concept through prototyping, validation, and release to production • Organize sprint-based or milestone-driven planning for electronics development cycles • Translate system and business requirements into detailed JIRA tickets and structured hardware work packages • Coordinate schematic design, PCB layout, firmware alignment, bring-up, testing, and certification activities • Track dependencies between electronics, firmware, mechanics, and software teams • Ensure adherence to timelines for prototype builds, board, spins, testing phases, and production release • Identify risks related to the supply chain, component availability, validation, and compliance early and proactively • Monitor validation progress, including EMC, safety, thermal, and reliability testing • Ensure structured documentation (schematics, layout reviews, BOMs, test reports, revision tracking) • Provide clear status reporting and milestone transparency to stakeholders Essential Skills • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as Technical Project Manager or Electronics Project Manager in hardware development • Strong technical background in electronics design (analog/digital circuits, PCB development, power electronics, embedded systems) • Experience with full hardware development lifecycle including prototyping, validation, certification,and production ramp-up • Solid understanding of firmware-hardware interaction and embedded systems • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and structured requirement management • Strong knowledge of risk management in hardware projects (e.g., long lead-time components, board re-spins, test failures) • Excellent planning and organizational skills ensuring structured execution and clarity across the team • Strong communication skills in English • Experience working in robotics or complex mechatronic systems Beneficial Skills • Experience with safety standards (e.g., functional safety concepts) • Knowledge of EMC compliance and regulatory certification processes • Supply chain and vendor management experience • German and Mandarin languages are a plus • Flexibility for business trips What we offer • A dynamic high-tech company, combined with financial soundness and world-class investors. • Join an interdisciplinary, international team with 60+ different nationalities in a collaborative work environment. • Lots of development opportunities as we continue to grow. • Challenging tasks and impactful projects alongside experts that enable professional and personal growth. • Corporate Benefits Program covering health, mobility, and learning for 100€ net per month. • Modern office facilities with a rooftop terrace overlooking Munich, free drinks & fruits, and regular company events contribute to a good working environment About us Agile Robots SE is an international high-tech company based in Munich, Germany with a production site in Kaufbeuren and more than 3500 employees worldwide.
