Assistant Vice President - Oracle Fusion EPM Lead - IT Services

AVP - Oracle Fusion EPM Lead Function: Global Technology Location: Noida (Hybrid) We are seeking an experienced professional to drive Oracle Fusion Enterprise Performance Management Modules covering our global Systems footprint and Financial close management systems. This role blends strategic leadership, future roadmap covering AI, solution architecture, hands-on delivery of systems management and global projects, senior stakeholder management and driving business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategy & Leadership: - Execute the EPM systems roadmap, aligning with organization goals and enterprise digital transformation initiatives. - Lead end-to-end design and governance of Oracle Fusion EPM solutions across FCCS, ARCS, PCMCS, PBCS, Narrative Reporting and implementation of new modules in future. - Own the EPM roadmap, drive platform modernisation, and ensure alignment with enterprise digital transformation goals. - Partner with GT and Corporate leadership to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. - Manage delivery across global teams, ensuring SLA adherence, audit compliance, and operational excellence. - Drive innovation culture, embracing AI and next-gen technologies and establish leading industry practices. - Engage, mentor and coach team of and provide them with a meaningful career path. - Strong communication skills and stakeholder management, communicating progress, risks, and innovation opportunities. - Handling external OEMs and service providers. 2. Technical Skills: - Deep hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion EPM modules - FCCS (consolidation), ARCS (reconciliation), PCMCS (cost management), PBCS (planning & budgeting), and Narrative Reporting. - Strong command of FDM/FDMEE, data integration, dimension design, business rules, and security configurations. - Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, REST APIs, and EPM Automate. - Working knowledge of adjacent platforms such as ERP Fusion, Essbase, and BI reporting tools. - Sound understanding of industry standard frameworks in Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP). - Expertise in Finance Close and Reporting Process Transition/Automation. - Ability to design cross-functional solution encompassing process, data and technology solutions. - Understanding of SOX and other compliance standards around Financial Systems. 3. Other Skills: - Excellent communication skills. - Strong program management discipline, with a focus on delivery velocity, adoption, and cost efficiency. - Proven ability to lead cross-functional, geographically distributed teams with clarity and composure. - Strong problem-solving mindset, executive presence, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Collaborative, resilient under pressure, and committed to continuous learning and knowledge-sharing across the organisation. - Knowledge of basic and advanced delivery tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio. 5. Stakeholder Engagement: - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders - Head of Controllership, Procurement, Taxation, FP&A and their direct reports. - Cross-functional teams - HR, Legal, LIFE, Growth Office, Internal Audit. - OEMs. - Consulting Firms and Service Providers. 6. Innovation & Emerging Technology: - Innovative mindset with a passion for exploring AI and emerging technologies. Stay ahead of emerging technology trends and progressively implement them in Finance Systems. - GenAI-Powered Finance Intelligence: Leverage Generative AI and machine learning to automate financial commentary, enhance forecasting accuracy, and accelerate the month-end close and consolidation cycle within Oracle EPM platforms. - Intelligent Automation & Integration: Drive adoption of REST APIs, EPM Automate, and Oracle Integration Cloud to eliminate manual interventions, streamline cross-platform data flows, and build scalable, low-touch EPM operating models across global finance functions. - Oracle Innovation Adoption: Proactively evaluate and deploy Oracle Fusion EPM's latest capabilities, including Redwood UX, AI-assisted reconciliations in ARCS, and predictive planning in PBCS, ensuring EXL remains at the forefront of enterprise performance management best practices. Champion AI-augmented Finance Systems. Required Experience: - 12 - 15 years of experience in managing various aspect of Application Delivery (Solutioning, Project Management). - At least 5 years in managing EPM systems, Transformation and Delivery (including Enterprise Applications) end-to-end Project delivery management (including scoping/requirement gathering, planning, resourcing and supplier management, costing/budgeting, implementation management and adoption for a large enterprise). Preferred Qualifications: - Post Graduate, preference for degree in Computer Science (MCA/BE/BTech) or Finance (CA, CWA, MBA). - Certification on Oracle EPM. - Program Management like PMP.
