Technical Architect

Description Basic Function • Bring techno‑functional expertise to drive HR digitization initiatives • Lead deployment of Oracle Fusion HCM and other SaaS HR solutions • Coordinate with Enabling Function teams for implementation and system operations activities • Manage Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud with continuous enhancements, rollouts, and operational delivery • Act as a technology partner to HR leadership to drive innovation, analytics, and improved user experience and process optimization • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills • Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and escalations Skills Technical & Process Skills • Implementation and support experience in Oracle HCM Cloud modules: • Core HR • Recruitment • Talent Management • Absence Management • Compensation & Benefits • Ability to map business and user requirements to Oracle HCM Cloud features • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion AI framework and implementation of AI agents • Strong understanding of the HCM technology landscape and integrated solution deployment • Strong functional troubleshooting skills (20% Technical / 80% Functional) • Hands‑on expertise in: • HDL/ HSDL • Fast Formula/ HCM Extract • Personalization • Workflow Customization • Scenario‑based setup configuration and modifications • Experience with analytical and reporting tools: • OTBI/ BI • Power BI • Ability to develop: • Process Design Documentation Data & Governance Capabilities • Demonstrated understanding of business data usage, data quality, and stewardship • Ability to partner with business and technical SMEs to standardize operational information • Experience in executing enterprise‑wide data governance policies and procedures • Ability to influence functional teams to think beyond current ways of working • Capability to align stakeholders on common standards and promote the value of master data quality Soft Skills Desired • Ability to handle internal clients effectively • Strong time management and workload planning skills • Focus on quality and continuous process improvement • Project management capabilities Minimum • Excellent communication and customer interaction skills (documentation, presentation, reporting) • Exposure to international or reputed clients preferred • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills • Ability to build strong working relationships with business users Responsibilities Key Responsibilities • Manage EXL’s digital HR applications, including Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud and other SaaS platforms • Partner with HR leadership to drive digitization of HR processes across EXL • Build and strengthen Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud capability within the organization • Drive innovation and continuous functional enhancements • Manage regular application upgrades and implement new OEM‑introduced features • Focus on team development and continuous training • Manage internal stakeholders across functions • Manage and govern external partners Primary Internal Interactions • Functional Heads / VPs / AVPs across: • Human Resource • Business Operations • Legal • Global Technology • Growth Teams • Internal Audit and SOX teams for compliance and control requirements Organizational Relationships • Reports To: Senior Associate Vice President – Enterprise Digital Applications • Supervises: Managers and Lead Assistant Manager Qualifications Education Requirements • Engineering Graduate Work Experience Requirements • 15+ years of overall experience • 12+ years of relevant experience in Oracle HCM Cloud • Hands‑on experience in Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects • Oracle Fusion HCM Certified
