Full Stack DevOps Engineer • Location: Brussels, hybrid • Contract type: until end of 2026, possible extension thereafter • ❤️ USP: Shape scalable Python and cloud architecture while building practical AI-powered automation for digital trade solutions. Your Role As Senior Full-Stack Developer & DevOps Engineer, you will develop and maintain applications and services across backend, frontend, data platforms, APIs, and overall architecture. You will help build scalable Python web services, improve deployment practices, and contribute technical expertise to innovative digital trade solutions. You will collaborate closely with the IT Lead and other technology teams, while supporting business analysis, risk, and data analytics teams with custom technical solutions and automation. You will also advise teams on suitable technologies, tools, and architectures for each project. The ideal candidate is a structured self-starter who works independently, values high-quality and well-documented code, and combines strong execution with curiosity, integrity, and a team-oriented mindset. Your Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Python web services and application modules. • Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines. • Collaborate with IT colleagues to enable effective service communication. • Build custom solutions and automate tasks for risk and data analytics teams. • Advise teams on technologies, tools, and architectures for individual projects. • Establish scalable development practices, reusable modules, and clear code documentation. • Contribute to AI-based regression testing and technically informed business processes. Who You Are Must-haves • Strong professional experience with Python 3.10+, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, and Alembic. • Hands-on expertise with GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker. • Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform, including GKE, Compute Engine, IAM, Secret Manager, Cloud SQL, monitoring, logging, storage, and VPC networking. • Experience developing and deploying full-stack solutions in a startup or scale-up environment. • Professional English proficiency and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team. Nice-to-haves • Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, NPM, ESLint, Prettier, and Husky. • Experience with Vertex AI, programmatic AI model usage, or Pydantic AI. • WordPress administration, plugin development, or theme development experience. • Knowledge of B2B trade, trade credit insurance, or related risk environments.
