Job Description

In 2026, we launched Computer, the defining product for the new era of agentic AI. We’ve scaled beyond the millions of people using Perplexity every day for research, shopping, investing and curiosity into a new paradigm of using AI to transform knowledge into action.

Product Managers at Perplexity work closely with design and engineering, focusing on the core agentic and search experiences. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and writing skills, the ability to envision innovative technology, and willingness to reimagine work to be more efficient and creative.

Ideal candidates have a passion in a particular industry that they are domain experts in: in the application please highlight which industry you are most interested in innovating. The Role The Core Experience team owns the foundational interactions that define how people use Perplexity every day.

This includes how users begin and continue work, understand what the product is doing, navigate and find what they need, manage their context and preferences, collaborate with others, and return to ongoing work across platforms.

You will identify the highest-leverage user problems, translate them into clear product direction, and partner closely with design, engineering, data science, and research to deliver experiences that feel fast, intuitive, cohesive, and dependable.

This role requires strong product judgment, deep user empathy, analytical rigor, and an exceptional eye for detail.

What You'll Do

Anticipate opportunities for innovation and value in enterprise industries. Envision new experiences and deliver a long-term vision. Understanding of levers for product-led growth and retention. Work closely with engineering and design to align product expectations and capabilities.

Work with research to evaluate and steer nondeterministic models into the high value outcomes for users. Have conviction to make difficult product decisions in the face of uncertainty. Develop a deep understanding of user need
