Job Description

Great products grow when people experience their value firsthand. We are looking for a Field Marketing Manager to design and scale programs that turn in-person engagement into enterprise pipeline.

You will manage a full range of third-party sponsorships and Perplexity-led field events that drive awareness, deepen relationships with senior buyers, and accelerate opportunities.

You will join a small field marketing team as an equal partner, working together to divide the portfolio based on company priorities, capacity, geography, and each person's strengths. This is a hands-on role for someone who can set the strategy and execute every detail.

You will work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Growth, Partnerships, and Customer Success to identify the right audiences, build programs around their needs, and turn each event into measurable business impact.

The ideal candidate is a field marketing generalist who is equally comfortable evaluating a sponsorship, building a regional plan, hosting an executive dinner, working a conference floor, and analyzing pipeline conversion afterward.

You may bring deeper experience in sponsored events or owned programs, but you should be ready to operate across both.

Divide and conquer across programs while maintaining shared standards, visibility, and accountability. Turn field engagement into pipeline. Design every program around a clear audience, business objective, conversion path, and follow-up plan, from pre-event outreach through opportunity creation and deal acceleration.

Own third-party event sponsorships. Evaluate conferences and sponsorship opportunities, recommend where Perplexity should invest, negotiate and activate packages, coordinate speakers and on-site presence, and build the pre
