Seeking a Business Analyst with a Focus on Data & ReportingBusiness Analyst - Data & Reporting Focus 6-Month Contract (with possibility of extension) | $80-$90 p/h + Super Hybrid Environment | Bentley, WA Your new company Hays is partnering with a leading organisation seeking a Business Analyst who combines strong stakeholder engagement and business analysis skills with hands-on data reporting and dashboard development experience.Your new role What you'll need to succeed This role will play a key part in helping the organisation translate risk and compliance controls into meaningful operational metrics, providing valuable insights that support informed decision-making. You will work closely with both business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, and develop reporting solutions that drive visibility and accountability across the organisation. Key Responsibilities • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirements gathering activities • Engage with business and technical teams to understand reporting and operational needs • Translate risk and compliance controls into measurable KPIs and operational metrics • Design, build and maintain dashboards and reports • Analyse data and provide insights to support business decision-making • Communicate complex information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Support the delivery of reporting frameworks and performance measurement initiatives Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst • Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills • Experience gathering, documenting and validating business requirements • Ability to interpret risk, governance or compliance controls and convert them into meaningful performance measures • Hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports • Strong Power BI skills, with experience using Excel and other reporting tools highly regarded • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills • Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline will be highly regarded What you'll get in return • Flexible and dynamic workplace • Competitive contract rates • Potential for contract extension based on project requirements What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV . #3015937
