Chief Technology Officer

About the Company and Role We are hiring a Chief Technology Officer for a high-load B2C platform operating at the intersection of gaming and transactional systems.

The product is already scaled, with 10+ engineering teams and a live production environment that includes real-time operations, payments, and high system load. The focus of the role is to increase delivery speed, remove bottlenecks, and help teams ship business-critical features faster.

This role requires a hands-on technical leader who is comfortable working at both the architecture and code level, takes ownership of outcomes, and is able to balance speed with reliability in areas such as transactions, security, and data integrity.

You will be working in a mixed environment of legacy and modern technologies, where priorities are driven by product impact and delivery timelines. Tech Stack: Python (Flask – legacy, FastAPI – new services), Node.

js (Nest, Express), React, MySQL (legacy), PostgreSQL, Kafka, Kubernetes, Temporal, Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry. Location: remote, full-time role in the EU time zone (global team, flexible setup).
