To support Hyperscale Data Center Environment * Permanent Role * Location: South / South West Sydney, Australia About the Role: CBRE is seeking an experienced Data Center Project Manager to lead the delivery of mission-critical infrastructure projects across South West Sydney. The successful candidate will bid, win, manage the full project lifecycle, from planning and procurement through to construction, commissioning, and handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideally suited to a project management professional with strong MEP experience and a background delivering electrical infrastructure, switchgear, critical power, in critical or live data centre environments. What You'll Do: • Estimate/tender/solution with supply chain. Bid and win with Client. • Lead and manage data center and critical infrastructure projects from initiation through completion. • Oversee all phases of project delivery, including planning, procurement, design coordination, construction, commissioning, and closeout. • Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, resources, and stakeholder expectations. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams to ensure successful project outcomes. • Drive contract procurement, tendering, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeout activities. • Monitor project financial performance, including billing, forecasting, cost control, and reporting. • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery. • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and client requirements. • Support commissioning and handover activities for mission-critical facilities. • Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional customer service. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business and client objectives. • Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members where required. What You'll Need: • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical) or equivalent Trade • Experience in Contracting Model - managing construction, infrastructure, data center, or mission-critical projects. • Strong MEP project delivery experience. • Electrical infrastructure and switchgear project experience highly preferred. • Knowledge of project management, contract administration, budgeting, and risk management. • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. • Degree qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline preferred. • PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are advantageous. • Willingness to work across project sites in South West and Western Sydney.
