We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join in building the Scheduling product as part of Toast’s Team Management Suite for restaurant employers. You’ll play a key roll* in the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions that enable restaurant owners to build an optimal labor plan that balances interests in profitability, employee’s desire for predictability and flexibility, and guest satisfaction. A day in the life (Responsibilities) Lead fellow fellow developers, product managers, and designers, to build amazing Scheduling features with a goal of increasing our consumer footprint at Toast and employee engagement within restaurants Flex your full-stack development muscles with challenging end-to-end tasks in a supportive, collaborative team environment Participate in designing, estimating, implementing, testing, and debugging end-to-end solutions Mentor developers through code-pairing and detailed code, architecture, and project reviews Champion best practices for development, deployment and quality life cycles Actively contribute to product design and
