We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join in building the Scheduling product as part of Toast’s Team Management Suite for restaurant employers. You’ll play a key roll* in the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions that enable restaurant owners to build an optimal labor plan that balances interests in profitability, employee’s desire for predictability and flexibility, and guest satisfaction. About this roll*: As a Software Engineer on our team, you will: Build, run, and improve core backend systems alongside a collaborative, supportive team. Take end-to-end ownership of systems, contributing to a strong engineering culture focused on quality, reliability, and long-term maintainability Lead work across the full development lifecycle—design, estimation, implementation, testing, debugging, and deployment—while learning and applying best practices for building and operating reliable systems at scale.
