Chief of Staff - Business & Operations - Manufacturing/Sports/Consumer Goods

Industry Preference: Sports Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Consumer Products, Retail, Operations-Driven Organizations Reporting To: Managing Director / Founder Position Level: Senior Leadership Candidate Profile: Education: - Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Commerce, or related disciplines. - MBA or Postgraduate Qualification from a reputed institution preferred. Experience: - 815 years of progressive experience in: 1. Chief of Staff 2. Business Operations 3. General Management 4. Program Management 5. Strategic Planning 6. Manufacturing / Sports / Consumer Goods / Retail / Infrastructure Industries - Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and delivering business transformation initiatives. - Experience working directly with CXOs, Founders, or Business Heads will be highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Business Leadership: - Partner directly with the Managing Director and leadership team to execute the company's strategic vision and growth roadmap. - Drive business planning, annual operating plans, and performance management initiatives. - Monitor business performance through KPIs, dashboards, and analytical reporting. - Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement, operational improvements, and organizational scalability. - Lead strategic projects and transformation initiatives across business functions. Operations Management: - Oversee end-to-end business operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and service excellence. - Develop and implement scalable operational frameworks, SOPs, and governance structures. - Establish performance standards and drive continuous process improvement. - Ensure effective coordination among Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance, HR, and Customer Success functions. - Optimize resource utilization while maintaining operational quality and compliance. Project Execution & Delivery: - Lead high-priority business initiatives from planning through execution. - Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, budgets, and timelines. - Ensure seamless execution of strategic and operational projects across departments. - Drive accountability and ownership among stakeholders to achieve organizational goals. Leadership & Team Development: - Build and mentor high-performing teams across functions. - Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and performance excellence. - Define KRAs, KPIs, and performance metrics for teams and business units. - Support leadership succession planning and organizational capability development. Business Analytics & Performance Management: - Develop executive-level MIS reports, dashboards, and business review mechanisms. - Analyze operational and financial data to support informed decision-making. - Present business insights and recommendations to senior management. - Monitor organizational performance against strategic objectives. Stakeholder & Governance Management: - Act as a key interface between leadership, departments, customers, vendors, and external stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with organizational policies, operational controls, and governance frameworks. - Drive effective communication and alignment across all business functions.
