Graphic Designer - AO5

About the Opportunity GRIT Talent Consulting is recruiting an experienced Graphic Designer (AO5) for a Queensland Government contract supporting stakeholder and community engagement across North Queensland. You'll create engaging print, digital and video content while working with a collaborative communications team on high-profile public sector initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Create high-quality print, digital and video content • Produce brochures, publications, presentations and social media assets • Ensure all work aligns with branding and accessibility standards • Collaborate with stakeholders and external creative suppliers • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Skills & Experience • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop & Premiere Pro) • Experience delivering creative content in a corporate or government environment • Strong understanding of branding and digital design • Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards is desirable • 5+ years' graphic or visual design experience with a relevant qualification (or equivalent) • Queensland Government experience is highly regarded Highlights • Cairns or Townsville • Flexible work arrangements after probation • 10-month Queensland Government contract • ⏰ Applications close 19 August 2026 Interested?
