Requirements • Minimum 7–10+ years of progressive construction project management experience, ideally within mechanical contracting or large-scale commercial and institutional construction. • Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred. • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and fire protection. • Demonstrated experience managing complex construction projects from preconstruction through substantial completion. • Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, cost forecasting, procurement, and contract administration. • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, building codes, and applicable regulatory requirements. • Ability to read, interpret, and evaluate architectural, engineering, mechanical, and shop drawings. • Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, field personnel, and multidisciplinary project teams. • Working knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations and construction site health and safety practices. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and MS Project, with the ability to quickly learn new project management software. • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects in a fast-paced construction environment. • Demonstrated commitment to quality, safety, accountability, and successful project delivery. #LI-SR #INDSTRIVE3
