Project Manager Event & Exhibition (UAE) - Freelance

We're seeking an experienced Freelance – Project Manager with a proven track record in managing events and exhibitions across the UAE.

The role covers the full project lifecycle—from concept planning and client coordination to on-site execution—ensuring each project is delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end execution of exhibitions, events, and corporate activations, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and delivery. Coordinate closely with clients, suppliers, designers, venue operators, and contractors to align on all project milestones.

Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Oversee production and logistics workflows, ensuring build quality, safety, and compliance with UAE regulations and venue requirements.

Conduct site inspections and supervise installation, event operations, and dismantling phases. Manage vendor negotiations to ensure cost control and service quality. Provide continuous updates to clients, manage change requests, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Compile post-event reports with performance insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing exhibitions, events, or activations within the UAE or GCC.

Strong understanding of event logistics, exhibition stand builds, and technical production. In-depth knowledge of UAE regulations governing events and temporary installations. Excellent project planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.

Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments. Core Competencies Organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Hands-on leadership with a focus on delivery and operational excellence.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and suppliers effectively. Adaptable and solution-driven when handling on-site challenges. Client-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and service. Flexibility to travel and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
