Summary: Fine Tours Group – FTG is a tech-enabled travel business with a market opportunity and rapid growth trajectory. FTG operates a multichannel strategy selling travel in New Zealand and Australia. We offer highly tailored and bespoke advice to our customers, ensuring they get the best experience possible. We are proud to bring New Zealand and Australia to the world! The Marketing Manager, New Zealand is a hands-on market leader accountable for driving the local B2C customer acquisition and growth strategy. Owning the NZ marketing plan, brand application, organic content, and commercial website merchandising, you will turn Group priorities and market insights into high-impact go-to-market strategies. Working closely with Product and Sales teams, you hold genuine decision-making authority to capture key market opportunities while leading execution through shared specialist capabilities across Performance, Lifecycle, Content, and Digital Experience. What does the role look like? • NZ Marketing Strategy & Planning: Develop and own the NZ marketing plan across key markets, products, and seasonality. Prioritise high-value opportunities based on customer, demand, and commercial evidence. • Product Marketing & Go-to-Market: Partner with Product to turn opportunities into clear customer propositions. Lead integrated campaigns, product launches, and promotions from brief through commercial review. • Brand, Content & Organic Marketing: Set content, social media, and editorial priorities. Direct organic search (SEO) and AI-discovery content strategies, ensuring brand alignment, accuracy, and commercial relevance. • Commercial Website & Merchandising: Own commercial priorities across the NZ website portfolio. Direct product prominence, merchandising, and user journeys to optimise conversion rates. • Performance Analysis & Growth: Monitor inquiries, bookings, sales, and conversion metrics against plan. Gather feedback from Sales and Product to diagnose performance changes and adjust marketing activities accordingly. What we’re looking for • Experience: 5+ years in integrated marketing, brand strategy, digital content, product marketing, or growth-focused roles. Travel, tourism, or high-consideration consumer goods experience is strongly preferred. • Commercial Judgement: Ability to translate performance data, customer insights, and product demand into clear commercial actions and campaign strategies. • Digital & Merchandising Acumen: Strong understanding of organic search, digital acquisition, customer journeys, and web merchandising. • Integrated Campaign Leadership: Proven track record leading multi-channel campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives from concept to execution. • Cross-Functional Leadership: Excellent collaborative skills, capable of guiding shared specialist teams, external agencies, and internal stakeholders without needing to perform every specialist task yourself. Why you’ll love working with us • Impact : Play an important role in helping travellers experience New Zealand and Australia. • Team: Work in a friendly, supportive and collaborative environment where wins are celebrated. • Perks: Hybrid working framework, travel benefits, free breakfast, birthday leave, company social club. By joining FTG you will be joining a great bunch of people from all over the world who have come together for a shared purpose – to deliver the very best New Zealand and Australian travel experiences!
