We're hiring the person who makes our feeds look like nobody else's. The editor whose reels make people ask "who made this?" and then try to copy it. Low-effort applications will never be considered. But if you are, go all in. This form is your first edit for us. Make it one we can't skip. The role, in one line Take a good idea and edit it into the reel everyone sends to their group chat. Overview We're hiring a Short-Form Video Editor who specialises in the formats that are winning right now: hype edits, motion graphics, text animations, AI-powered visuals, and whatever the internet invents next week. You'll edit for a mix of brands, from a neighbourhood bar to a luxury resort to a national tech brand, sometimes in the same afternoon. Our content strategists crack the ideas. You make them hit harder than anyone expected, and you push back when you can see a better cut. This is a full-time, in-office role in Bengaluru. What you'll do Edit • Edit Reels, Shorts, and ads that stop the scroll in the first second. • Build hype edits with sharp pacing, beat-synced cuts, speed ramps, and real energy. • Create multiple versions of the same idea (hooks, durations, formats) for organic and paid. Motion & type • Design motion graphics, kinetic typography, and text animations that feel native to the feed. • Use tracking, masking, transitions, and overlays to make ordinary footage look premium. • Adapt your style to every brand's look without making them all look the same. AI • Use AI tools for animation, image-to-video, generative visuals, upscaling, rotoscoping, and cleanup. • Create basic AI animations and stylised sequences that would be impossible or too expensive to shoot. • Keep testing new tools and bring the useful ones into the team's workflow. Trends • Spot new formats, audio, and edit styles early, and know which brand each one fits. • Adapt trends so they feel native to the brand, not borrowed. Collaborate • Work with content strategists, social managers, designers, and videographers. • Take a brief and make it better than what was imagined. Who we're looking for • 3+ years editing short-form content for brands, creators, or media pages. • Expert in Premiere Pro and After Effects (non-negotiable). CapCut, DaVinci is a bonus. • A portfolio full of hype edits, motion graphics, and text animations you made yourself. • Hands-on with AI tools (Runway, Kling, Higgsfield, Pika, Midjourney, Topaz, or similar), not just curious about them. • Range. You can make something feel premium, funny, raw, or high-energy, and know which one the brand needs. • Obsessive about pacing, sound design, music, and timing. • Fast without being sloppy.
