Job Description

Salary: £41,000 - 81,000 per year Requirements: • Significant experience authoring high-quality business analysis documentation, including business requirements, options analysis, BPMN 2.0 process designs, user stories, test scripts, and acceptance criteria for technical system delivery • Ability to gather and interpret user requirements and develop viable, user-centric solutions in line with regulatory requirements, platform governance, and School policies and procedures • Ability to translate business requirements into user stories, use cases, process models, data models, and technical specifications, and support solution validation through prototypes or iterative refinement • Ability to proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, and propose effective mitigation strategies Responsibilities: • Work with the AI/Automation team and business and technical stakeholders to understand problems, elicit and challenge requirements, analyse processes and data flows, develop solution options, and translate business needs into clear requirements for technical delivery teams • Lead requirements elicitation activities and support testing, service transition, and business change • Research product-team business needs and the current technology environment, and use incoming technology solutions to develop services that bridge current and desired states • Help ensure the team addresses the right problems with appropriate tools and approaches • Contribute to maximising measurable business benefits and outcomes Technologies: • AI • BPMN • Support More: We are the London School of Economics, a cosmopolitan university specialising in the social sciences in the centre of London. The Senior Technical Business Analyst (AI / Automation) is a hands-on role reporting to the Lead Technical Business Analyst. This is a fixed-term appointment for three years, with a salary of £53,949 to £62,160 per annum inclusive, with potential progression to £69,073 inclusive of London allowance.
