**Your role and responsibilities** * Lead projects from initiation and planning through to implementation and closure. * Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and success criteria. * Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and milestones.

* Manage project budgets, resources and forecasts to ensure effective financial control. * Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies. * Establish effective project governance, reporting and controls.

* Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure clear ownership of project activities and deliverables. * Manage relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, risks and issues. * Facilitate project meetings, workshops and governance forums as required.

* Monitor project progress against agreed milestones, scope, budget and quality requirements. * Manage changes to project scope through an appropriate change-control process. * Ensure project documentation is maintained accurately and effectively.

* Work with suppliers and third-party partners where required, managing deliverables and performance. * Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and ways of working. * Ensure appropriate testing, implementation and transition activities are completed.

* Lead project closure activities, including lessons learned and handover to operational teams. * Ensure projects comply with relevant organisational policies, standards and governance requirements.

**Required technical and professional expertise** * Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale projects within a complex organisation or client environment. * Strong experience across the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to implementation and closure.

* Demonstrable experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues and dependencies. * Strong stakeholder management experience, including engagement with senior business and technology stakeholders. * Experience leading multidisciplinary and/or geographically distributed teams.

* Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills. * Ability to operate effectively in environments with ambiguity, competing priorities and changing requirements. * Experience working within Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies. * Strong understanding of project governance and delivery controls.
