Teaching Assistant - Business Analytics Part-time (not a full-time job) | 3 to 6 hours a week | Remote | ₹3,000 to ₹6,000 a week (more for experienced TAs) Remember that one teacher who made a scary topic suddenly make sense? Many of them are one "aha!" moment away from getting there. You could be the one who gives it to them. What you'll do • Answer student questions on chat during live classes. Think of it as being the calm, smart friend in the group chat. • Mentor students in groups and sometimes one-on-one. You help them get unstuck, think like a business person and believe in themselves. When you'll work • Weekdays from 8:00 PM • Weekends It fits neatly around your day job or research. Why this matters Every student has a question they're scared to ask. As their mentor, you're the one they ask without feeling judged. "Dumb" questions are never dumb. Answer one and it clicks. That's the magic: you help someone upskill and change their life. You might forget the doubt you cleared on a Tuesday night. They won't. Every good teacher learns twice. What you should know well • Analyst thinking: breaking down a vague business problem and asking the right questions • Business metrics and KPIs: revenue, growth, retention, profitability and how they connect • Excel or Google Sheets, including cleaning messy data • SQL • Statistics and business math • Dashboards and data visualization (Looker Studio, Power BI or Tableau) • Storytelling with data: turning numbers into insights and clear recommendations • Business basics in at least one area, like e-commerce, finance, marketing or product • Using AI tools smartly in analysis, and checking what they produce • End-to-end projects: taking raw data all the way to a dashboard and a recommendation • Python for data analysis is a bonus Who can apply You should be one of these: • A working professional with 1+ year of experience in data analytics, business analytics, consulting, strategy or a related role • A PhD scholar in management, economics, statistics or a related area We prefer ed-tech or teaching experience. No teaching experience yet? That's okay. If you're confident you can explain things clearly and make students want to learn, apply anyway and show us.
