Teaching Assistant – AI/ML | Tamil | Part-Time

About the Opportunity Masai School, in academic collaboration with a premier institute, is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant – Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (Tamil) to support learners enrolled in an online AI/ML program. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with learners to help them understand complex AI/ML concepts, solve technical doubts, debug code, and apply their learning through practical projects — all while communicating effectively in Tamil . Institution: Masai School, in academic collaboration with a premier institute Program: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Mode: Fully Remote | India Engagement: Part-Time Time Commitment: 6–8 hours per week Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Doubt Resolution • Conduct weekly doubt-solving and tutorial sessions in Tamil . • Help learners understand AI/ML concepts, assignments, and coding challenges. • Simplify complex technical concepts using practical examples. • Support learners with Python programming and ML implementations. Technical & Academic Support • Assist learners with data preprocessing, feature engineering, ML algorithms, and model evaluation . • Help debug Python and machine learning code. • Guide learners in building and improving ML models. • Answer technical questions through discussion forums, chats, and LMS platforms. Project & Industry Support • Help learners apply AI/ML concepts through practical projects. • Share relevant real-world AI/ML use cases and industry practices. • Guide learners on tools, libraries, and standard ML workflows. • Support learners in understanding model performance and improvement techniques. Learner Engagement • Provide regular feedback and guidance to learners. • Encourage learners to actively participate in sessions and discussions. • Track learner progress and highlight challenges to the academic team. • Contribute feedback to improve the learning experience and course delivery. Candidate RequirementsMust Have • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning . • Strong Python programming skills. • Good understanding of: • Data preprocessing and feature engineering • Supervised and unsupervised learning • Model evaluation metrics • Basics of deep learning • Hands-on experience with NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn , and TensorFlow or PyTorch . • Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, training, or academic support . • Strong spoken Tamil with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly. Good to Have • Experience with ML deployment or production workflows. • Familiarity with Jupyter, Git, and LMS platforms. • Experience mentoring students, developers, or early-career professionals. • Background in AI/ML from a reputed technical institute or program.
