The role is about: We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our Banking team and help establish and strengthen dedicated QA practices within the team. As a QA Engineer – Banking , you will help ensure the quality and reliability of our Core Banking and Payment platforms .

You will work across automated and manual testing, with a strong focus on API, backend, integration, and transaction flows . This is a hands-on QA Automation role where you will help identify issues early, improve test coverage, and make sure our banking services are stable, reliable, and ready for our customers .

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of QA activities, understand systems deeply, and contribute to building a strong quality mindset within the team.

Location: Remote from Poland, Portugal (Contractor arrangement) or Cyprus Onsite (Relocation support provided) Reporting to: Team Lead What you will do: Perform end-to-end functional, integration, regression, and system testing for Core Banking and Payment platforms.

Build and maintain automated tests using Python (PyTest) and end-to-end browser automation tools such as Cypress and Playwright . Create and execute test cases based on new feature implementations. Participate in refinement sessions and provide QA input early in the development lifecycle.

Prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data, and coverage . Perform API and backend testing , ensuring correct system behaviour and data integrity. Conduct manual testing when needed to ensure full test coverage. Analyse lo
