Purchasing Executive (FMCG/ Food Services)

Our esteemed client in the Food Wholesaler/ Distribution industry is seeking a Purchasing Executive to join their dynamic team: Employment Type: Permanent Position: Purchasing Executive Location: Senoko Working Hours: 5. 25 days [Mon – Fri, 8. 30am – 5.

45pm; Half day on Sat] Salary Package: Up to $4,000 + AWS + Variable Bonus Job Responsibilities: Manage purchase orders and local procurement activities, ensuring timely and accurate order processing.

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, favourable payment terms, and reliable delivery schedules. Collaborate with the Sales team to align procurement plans with demand forecasts and ensure product availability.

Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure smooth receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. Monitor inventory levels and resolve stock discrepancies to minimise shortages, excess inventory, and product wastage.

Verify the quality and quantity of incoming goods, including products with shelf-life considerations. Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier documentation, and purchasing reports in compliance with company policies and audit requirements.

Job Requirements

At least Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations. Experience purchasing food products or other inventory with shelf-life management is an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis. Experience using SAP HANA or other ERP systems is an advantage. Registered Customs Declarant certification will be an added advantage. Ready to apply?
