Technical Lead (SWF DM-TEE)

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with strong expertise in software development, team leadership, and the automotive domain. The role requires ownership of multiple engineering tools and operational workstreams, driving alignment across global stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for standardization, automation, and process transformation. The successful candidate will act as a key technical and strategic leader, ensuring common solutions are developed wherever possible while addressing domain-specific requirements across different vehicle platforms. Automotive Domain Expertise (Mandatory) Required Domain Experience • 8-12 years of experience in software engineering with significant exposure to the Automotive Industry . • Strong understanding of automotive engineering processes, vehicle development lifecycle, and engineering tool ecosystems. • Experience working with Powertrain, Calibration, Configuration Management, Flashing, ECU, Software logistics, Vehicle Engineering, or related automotive domains . • Experience collaborating with engineering teams supporting different vehicle technologies and product lines. • Understanding of engineering data flows, tool chains, and process integration within automotive development environments. Stakeholder Management Global Collaboration & Product Alignment • Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple locations supporting different vehicle platforms and engineering organizations. • Act as the primary interface between teams supporting different vehicle programs . • Understand business, engineering, and process requirements from both stakeholder groups and identify opportunities for common platforms, tools, and workflows. • Drive harmonization and standardization initiatives to maximize reuse and minimize duplicate development efforts. • Build consensus among stakeholders and leadership teams to establish shared roadmaps and strategic priorities. • Translate complex technical and operational requirements into scalable enterprise solutions. Strategic Leadership & Innovation Process Transformation & Automation • Develop and execute a long-term vision for engineering toolchain modernization and process improvement. • Identify opportunities for automation across: • Engineering tool development • Calibration and configuration workflows • Software logistics processes • Create business cases and gain stakeholder approval for productivity improvement initiatives. • Drive digital transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, traceability, and engineering productivity. • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across all workstreams. Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will: • Be a hands-on technical leader capable of balancing coding responsibilities with team leadership. • Have demonstrated success leading teams of 10-14 members. • Possess strong automotive domain knowledge and understand challenges across multiple vehicle programs. • Possess strong data management experience. • Be comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions. • Have a track record of implementing automation and productivity improvement initiatives. • Demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and execution skills across technical and operational functions.
