President - ECM Syndication - Investment Banking

Hiring: President - ECM Syndication We are looking for an accomplished ECM Syndication leader for a senior leadership opportunity with a leading Investment Banking firm. The role will have significant ownership for revenue generation, ECM franchise building, institutional investor coverage, syndication, placements, book building and successful closure of equity capital market transactions. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and scale the ECM Syndication business, with responsibility for revenue generation and franchise growth. - Drive end-to-end syndication and placements across IPOs, QIPs, FPOs, Rights Issues, Block Trades and other ECM transactions. - Build and leverage strong relationships across Mutual Funds, FPIs/FIIs, Insurance Companies, PMS, AIFs, Family Offices and other institutional investors. - Work closely with Investment Banking / Origination teams to support mandate conversion, investor positioning and successful deal closures. - Lead pre-deal marketing, investor roadshows, management meetings and institutional investor engagement. - Own the book-building process, including demand generation, investor feedback, pricing inputs and allocation strategy. - Provide strategic inputs on valuation, pricing, transaction structure, timing and market positioning. - Track institutional flows, market sentiment, competing ECM transactions and investor appetite. - Develop and maintain comprehensive investor mapping across sectors, investment preferences and ticket sizes. - Build and mentor the ECM Syndication / Institutional Coverage team. - Represent the firm at senior levels with issuers, promoters, institutional investors and other capital-market participants. Candidate Profile: - 10+ years of experience in Investment Banking / Equity Capital Markets. - Strong experience in ECM Syndication, Institutional Coverage and Placements. - Proven track record of revenue generation and successful closure of ECM transactions. - Strong deal experience across IPOs, QIPs, FPOs, Block Trades and other equity transactions. - Established network and relationships with domestic and international institutional investors. - Demonstrated ability to generate investor demand and successfully syndicate sizeable equity transactions. - Strong understanding of book building, pricing, valuation, investor behaviour and capital-market dynamics. - Strong business-building, leadership, negotiation and stakeholder-management capabilities.
