The work model for the role is:#LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area for the Smart Buildings Division based in Hyderabad. You will be mainly accountable for: • Highly motivated self-driven engineers to work independently on R&D projects related to ELSB NEMA product line. • Must have good understanding of product development lifecycle and have hands-on expertise on product development activities including design, testing, analysis, root cause, qualification, and certification. • Hands-on experience of simulation tools like Ansys to cut short the product development cycle and optimization of products is a plus. Understanding of structural, thermal, electromagnetic, computational fluid dynamics will be an added advantage along with exposure to current interruption process. • Demonstrates sound understanding of R&D processes and tools. Demonstrate ownership on compliance with applicable standards. • Must have understanding of competitor product & IP landscaping and product application. • Interface with other engineering departments, test laboratories, manufacturing, quality, sourcing and suppliers as required. Qualifications for the role: • B. Tech/M. S/ M. Tech or equivalent in Electrical / Mechanical engineering with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Electrical product design/development and Analysis. • Proficient in Ansys and CAD Tools like Creo, Pro/ENGINEER etc. • Experience with electrical panelboards and circuit breakers.
