The Project CPB is working on a major infrastructure project in regional Queensland, involving the construction and delivery of a large scale, highly technical facility. We are currently seeking experienced Senior Project Engineers to join our project delivery team, working on a complex, fast paced construction environment. Your Opportunity As a Senior Project Engineer, you will work closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team to lead the engineering and technical delivery of allocated work packages across a major infrastructure project. This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex work packages from planning through to completion, working closely with construction, commercial and project teams to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes in line with project requirements and program. We are seeking engineers who are comfortable working in project environments, with roles predominantly operating on a 15:6 roster and aligned to key project delivery schedules. Key Responsibilities • Lead the engineering and delivery of allocated work packages, from planning and design coordination through to construction and completion • Coordinate Site Engineers, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers, ensuring works are delivered safely, to program, budget and specification • Manage program, procurement, cost tracking, forecasting, quality and technical documentation for allocated packages • Review designs and technical documentation, manage RFIs, ITPs, inspections, approvals and technical issues, and drive timely resolution • Work closely with the Project Manager and construction team to manage project interfaces, identify risks and deliver safety, quality, program and commercial outcomes Our minimum requirements for this role are: • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction or a related discipline • 7+ years' engineering experience, with a strong background delivering major infrastructure projects • Strong technical knowledge with experience working across engineering, design coordination, quality and project delivery • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, lead work packages and work collaboratively with project and construction teams We particularly welcome and encourage applications from Indigenous Peoples, women, the LGBTQ+ community, mature workers, Veterans and active-duty armed forces, people with disabilities and people from different cultural backgrounds.
